Ethnic music of Mountain Altai was born from sounds of mountain streams, the roaring falls, chatter of birds and a roar of deers. The invariable companion of any Altai equestrian and shepherd - a whip (kamcha). Its biting sounds, the whistle cutting air are music of mountain pastures and steppes. Most of the instruments are hand made.
