The Himalaya bowl - the ancient sacral music instrument which Tibetans used in Buddhist ceremonies and rituals. The sound is elicited by friction of a special stick about the edge of a bowl. There are several techniques of a game, it is possible to lead stick on the edge, changing tonality by clicking force, it is possible to strike slightly, then the sound will be like a hand bell sound. The quantity of overtones and frequency depend on an alloy composition of which the bowl is made. As a rule, each metal in composition sounds its own frequency that creates uniqueness of sounding. The modern singing bowls can be painted with different ritual characters or mantras. The most widespread "Om Mani Padme Hum". In syllables the difficult religious and sacral sense is hidden, it is word-for-word translated as "The pearl shining in a lotus flower". First of all means purity of thoughts, the physical embodiment and Buddha's mind. On another the mantra is called "Six syllables" that means an opportunity with a mantra to influence appearance of life in six circles of a sansara. Each syllable is responsible for a certain world - hell, the world of hungry spirits, people, animals, gods and demigods.
