The Tibetan mandzhira - an ancient percussion musical instrument from group of idiophones. It means that the tool doesn't demand extras for a game, it is self-sufficient. Mandzhira is known for a long time and widespread on territories of Tibet, India, China, Nepal. Represents two small convex plateaus with a diameter about 5-7 cm fastened among themselves with a leather or textile cord. It is often used together with other tools in various Buddhist rituals and practices. Play on a mandzhira is a striking the suspended plateaus with special sticks or striking two halves with each other. As a rule, it is made of bronze with the subsequent forging. It is decorated with patterns on religious subject, sacral symbols and mantras. Sometimes in east dancing practices it is used to twenty various mandzhiras.
