This pendant from a handmade wood is elegant and plain, nothing superfluous. The tree which was used for creation of this jewelry is a larch. The larch can be considered the most mysterious Siberian tree. It grows in places where by definition there shouldn't be trees. Sends needles though a coniferous tree. Practically isn't exposed to rotting. In water only becomes stronger and firmer. Of this tree indigenous Altaians cover with bark the traditional dwellings - aila. Jewelry of this wood is very unusual. The so-called stewed larch is applied to production. It is subject to influences of fire (high temperature) and water thanks to what the unique relief on a surface is shown.
